ECO-Heater

The most efficient room heater out there

How greenly efficient is the ECO-Heater? The results from my tests show it will heat up a 12 by 12 foot room with only 400 watts of power, which is the equivalent of four 100-watt incandescent lights. In comparison, a baseboard heater uses 1200 to 2500 watts to do the same thing.

When mounted, the ECO- Heater sucks air passively between itself and a gap in the wall. In this way, cold air is constantly drawn in and warm air exits the top. On a 42 degree night, I was easily able to maintain 70 degrees inside of my closed door bedroom. To maintain the chill and prove the heater, I kept my kitchen door open, allowing the colder air to swirl around outside, with virtually no effect on my bedroom temperature. I even closed the door in the kitchen and then opened my bedroom, and although it took a while, the Eco Heater warmed up the kitchen as well. All this only used 400 watts of power.

To cut your energy bills this winter, this is a great supplement to your main heating. Just turn the main system down, put up an ECO-Heater, and heat only the space you are in.

I bought the Eco Heater and when the temperature was in the teens outside it warmed my converted porch/room to a comfortable temperature. We heat the rest of the house with a woodstove and were trying to use an electric space heater to heat the room. I found the Eco Heater on a Green Website purchased it online, it was shipped and in 4 days we were enjoying the heat. I would recommend it for it's ease in use, the ability to leave it and not worry about it being knocked over (by our 5 dogs). I've not received our electric bill for the month but I'm sure it won't be as much as running an electric space heater.
