Trees for Technology

Dell makes a difference

For those of us who are environmentally conscious and looking to make a computer or other IT product purchase, Dell offers an eco-friendly solution that offsets the carbon impact of the electricity required to power our technology.

Through Dell's 'Plant a Tree for Me' initiative, a percentage of each consumer purchase goes toward the planting of trees that absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Dell partners with The Conservation Fund and the Carbonfund.org, non-profit organizations that plant trees in sustainable reforestation projects. Dell sends the donations directly to its partners, who use 100% of the funds to facilitate the planting of the trees. You can log onto the site to either plant a tree with or without a purchase.

MyGreenClick.com is also at the forefront of the tree planting revolution. For every new reader that subscribes to our daily newsletters, we are making a donation to American Forests to plant a tree on their behalf. This donation is paid for by our sponsors, so when you see an advertisement that interests you, click on the banner and help us plant more trees. The more "clicks" we collect, the more trees we can plant! You can also plant more trees by sending seeds to your family and friends.
